Vitiligo, Hands & Feet?

Depending on the client the outcome is always different. Some people with vitiligo find self-tanning darkens their non-pigmented (white) areas and helps blend the darker areas into an even tan. As an airbrush artist, you must be careful to mostly tan the whiter areas in order to even your client’s vitiligo areas.

You must also take care around hands and feet, as the skin in these areas is thicker and will absorb more color, resulting in darker tones and uneven spots. A lighter touch is necessary for these areas.
